Knowledge Hub - data workstream ideas

From what we have learned from similar projects, it is pretty certain that for the initial testing/prototype of the Knowledge Hub, that we will work with a limited set of data sources. These will be selected in order to provide likely insights and analysis to address one or two defined Local Authority priorities or issues, probably related to Efficiency or Performance. These initial datasets will also be chosen on the on the basis of validity, completeness, openness (adhering as much as possible to this set of open data principles - http://resource.org/8_principles.html). Where we would like your help is to identify
1. The defined Local Authority ‘priorities or issues’ that the prototype Knowledge Hub should facilitate answers or insight to
2. From that, the datasets and sources that might provide answers
